Transcript
The same cardiologist I was referred to came in and said to me ‘Ya – none of the medications are working for you. [home province] can’t help you anymore’. And he said ‘so I called my colleagues in [new province] and they have accepted your case and you’ll be medevacked as soon as possible’ and he said and when he said to me that your home province can’t help you anymore, I think my ejection fraction depleted that day and broke my heart because realizing that I’d have to leave school for a while and my friends and my dog and that kind of thing right. So I knew my life was never going to be the same.
